We’re thrilled to have recently completed this custom order for one of willowlamp’s Interior Design clients based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. We understand that it is bound for a luxury hospitality destination in Africa.

As an innovator, willowlamp is constantly developing its pendant light product range and creating new forms of expression via its lighting installations. Creative Director and founder Adam Hoets’ strength lies not only in the aesthetic beauty of his creations, but in their conceptual gravitas. As such he’s always conscious of offering beauty with a backstory.

At the end of June willowlamp will be holding its first ever retrospective exhibition spanning the company’s production evolution from inception to present day and featuring the compendium of designs created over the last decade and a half of the company’s existence.

willowlamp will take part in Euroluce at the Salone del Mobile for the first time this April. Renowned on the South African decor scene for its design-forward and inspiring creations and luxury chandeliers the company has previously showcased at African and Middle Eastern trade shows.

Willowlamp will be exhibiting at Euroluce 2019 – this international lighting exhibition runs concurrently with Salone del Mobile, Milano from 9 to 14 April, 2019 and is recognised as the global benchmark lighting exhibition, where technological innovation and design culture take centre stage.

As 2018 draws to a close, we take time to reflect on this year’s highlights. willowlamp exhibited art pieces at both local and international design shows this year, representing South African design at home and abroad.

willowlamp takes on New York and Dubai this November as our unique chandeliers travel to two renowned international design festivals.

We’re excited to announce that willowlamp will be returning to 100% Design South Africa for the fourth time since the show launched in 2014, with  new lighting designs. 100% Design South Africa is the largest curated exhibition platform for sourcing high-end contemporary design in Africa.

After a successful start to the year, willowlamp is currently preparing for an even more fruitful and eventful latter half of 2018 in lighting design.
